The mission of Searsmont Garden Growth is to share fresh produce from home gardens:

- with those experiencing food instability

- with the gastronomically curious

- with anyone

Free.

Searsmont Garden Growth aims to spread the wealth of local garden produce around the community; lessening food instability and encouraging food independence.

Gardeners, if you've got some extra produce or seedlings:

-bring it to the Waldo County Bounty stand (out by the Historical Society Barn in the parking lot) PUT PRODUCE IN COOLERS (not on stand)

-fill out the info on the white board (this is to help WCB collect statistics for future grants and funding)

-feel free to try some of what other folks left!

 

 

Who's this for?

Local gardeners/farmers with extra produce & the people who eat fresh produce.

Why?

To lessen food instability in the community and to encourage food independence.

What sort of produce?

Fresh veggies and fruits. Please, no dairy, prepared foods, or non-edible flowers.
