The Waldo Broadband Corporation would like to inform its residents that the contract agreement between the Maine Connectivity Authority and Direct Communications was approved on June 17th. 

We all have the same question, when will I get my new fiber installation?

The current completion (all locations online) date in the contract is October 15, 2026. Many locations will be online before that date. Several milestones, including pole applications with utility companies and make-ready work, need to be accomplished before the network construction can begin. DCR is actively working on the project and will adhere to the timeline established in the contract agreement with the Maine Connectivity Authority. A detailed project timeline should be available by August.
