Transfer Station

Hours of Operation:

Saturdays       8 am - 3 pm     

The transfer station will not be open on Wednesday's this summer due to a lack of staff. (2024)                   

Items Accepted During Normal Hours:  
Residential trash bags
Cardboard for recycling
Electronics $5.00 per item
Fluorescent bulbs $1-2 per item depending upon size
Mercury switch thermostats
 

Trash Bag Stickers can be purchased at the Town Office or at the Transfer Station during their regular hours.

      Orange Stickers (30 gallon) - 5 for $10.00
      Green Stickers (10 gallon) - 10 for $10.00

2024 DEMO DEBRIS DAYS:  May 11th & August 24th

Items Accepted on Demo Debris Days Only:

Mattresses or stuffed furniture   $10.00 each
Rugs or Carpets                       $10.00 each
Bureaus/desks/etc.                   $10.00 each
Tires                                       $  2.00 each (16" or less)
                                              $  3.00 each (17" or more)

No Shingles Will Be Accepted

Construction Debris will be priced by the Attendant prior to disposal.


NO ANIMAL CARCASSES, STUMPS OR ASHES ARE TO BE DISPOSED OF AT THE TRANSFER STATION


The transfer station no longer accepts brush and wood for burning.
