The Board of Appeals has the authority to hear appeals related to a decision of the Code Enforcement Officer or Planning Board, or a failure of those entities to act, by any person, affected directly or indirectly.  They also act on any variance requests within the Town of Searsmont.

The Board of Appeals meets annually to elect officers review policies, and as  needed to act on appeal applications.
